Here are a few pics we took this morning. We couldn't get her to open her eyes very well, maybe next week she wont sleep all the time and we can get a good look at her little black asian eyes.

Well, we finally had kira!!!!!!!! yipeeeeeee. Labor went good for len, she got induced at 8 in the morning and by 10 she was ready for the epideral. Then at 1:56pm kira came into the dark and dreary world wondering what the heck just happened! The midwife said she heard a little crack when she came out because she was kinda sideways and looking up so her left shoulder got caught on len's bone. The doctors did an x-ray and comfirmed that her little collar bone had cracked. They said it would only take a few days to heal though luckily. We came home the next day. She is slightly jaundice so we had to get the lights on friday night, so it hasn't been much fun trying to keep her happy while she's in there. hopefully by monday she will be ok. Here are some pictures of our little chinese looking Kira JaNell Peterson!

She looks a little different now and I'll get some new ones posted as soon as she gets out of the oven.

So I would like to tell you about a "fun" trip I had yesterday. It all started out when Gabe Patterson called me up and asked if me and Ted wanted to go on a ride after work, I told him heck ya, I had been aching to take my cycle out for a long time. So after work it was all cold and snowy on the mountain (isn't it supposed to be spring??? ohhh thats right we live in wayne county) We decided to go anyway. So me, Dan, (len's dad) Ted and Gabe took off (dan rode on back with ted) and decided to go up the saddle pass trail and see how far we could get. We hit snow just past the old sawmill but it was fresh snow that had just fallen yesterday and it wasn't too deep. after a while, we started getting into the deep snow but it was so cold that we could just ride over the drifts. It was soo beautiful! It was snowing a little and the sun was peaking over the table from the west through the fog, I've never seen the back side of the mountain in the winter because of all the snow, but there we were just riding over huge 5 foot drifts like we were snowboarding. So Ted and Gabe had it easy with their big 800 4 wheelers, Me on the other hand, I had the old Beta motorcycle, and it wasn't so easy to control in the snow. I soon figured out that if I went first and blazed my own trail, I was fine and all I had to do was keep all my wait on my back tire in order to keep from sliding around alot. Well, after 2 hours of this, my back was killing me! So we made it to the trail that heads back to Neff's and decided that we'd made it this far without any problems, so we could surely make it back to lyman through the neff's trail.. So we took off, and what do you know, not 100 yards from the trail head, we hit a soft drift that was about 50 yards long. I didn't have a prayer, I just had to try and push my bike through it all, sinking to my thighs in snow. but Dan helped me out and we were able to get through. Ted got stuck too and we had to help him out. So thus began our (especially My) struggles. every hill we approached I would have to bail off and try to keep from sinking to deep and just push with all my might. Ted would get stuck too, so Dan would stay back and help him. Punk Gabe didn't even get stuck but he would have to help ted too. So here I was in front of the pack, I'd just get my bike up a hill and go a few yards and I'd have to push it up another one. I thought I would die! my arms were burning, my lungs were out of oxygen and my legs were soaked! Well by the time we made it up the hills and the land finally leveled out, it was dark and I had no head light (another story), so I had to have ted behind me shining the way. We finally made it out off the timber and to where you have to cross the creek, I being in front was the first to cross and as I gassed my bike in order to make it through, my front tire hit ice on the other side and I stopped right in the middle of the crick. so there I was stuck in the drink and I couldn't lift my front tire up on the ice and it would'nt break either, so ted came and helped me and we got it out. By this time I was cursing under my breath... wait, no I was just cursing... and we finally made it to red canyon where the going would be easy. RIGHT! little did I know this would be the worst part! so I was trucking along down the clay hills and all the sudden my front wheel locked and turned a 90 and I jumped off and the bike went down. WHAT the. So all the wet clay was getting trapped between my tire, fender and front forks and it was just like someone was grabbing my front brake the WHOLE way down the freakin mountain! It was all I could do to keep my tire from turning to the left or right, and I had to push with both arms equally hard or it would do so. One time it was so bad that my bike just stopped and my engine died! so Dan got a stick and helped clean it out (oh ya, Ted and gabe were behind me the whole way down going like 5 miles per hour, so by this time I'm sure they were sick of my predicament) So finally we made it down to horse valley after a couple more crashes and cleaning out my tire, so we sent gabe home and I had ted follow me and light the way... SHWEEW, I thought that was the end of all my struggles. it wasn't I ran out of gas on the last straight away a mile from town. HOLY SHICK. I just wanted to throw my bike down and sleep right there because I had nothing left. my arms were jello, my hands were locked around my grips in a death grip, besides being frozen and my feet were soaked. Well, I sent ted and dan home to see if there was any more mixed gas at dad's house and I started pushing the bike home. I made it all the way to seth chappells before the got back to me, bringing a jug of non mixed, so I just told them I would push it home. By the time I got home and parked the bon of a sitchen bike, it was all I could do to keep myself from laying down right there on the cold cement just steps from the house, but I forced myself up the steps and through the door. Man, I've never been so tired in my life! You know how sometimes you just say that because your tired? Ya, this really was the most tired I have ever been in my life. We started riding at 6, and when I walked through the door it was 10pm! So me and dan proceded to tell each other how that trip was the craziest thing we'd ever done and that neither of us would ever forget it! So sorry this was such a long post, but I just thought you might want to know that we were the first ones to make it around Thousand Lake this year!!!!! Yippee! Was it worth it? HEll NO! excuse the language.... (please)

Yesterday mom,pam,lori and sarah gave me a baby shower. mom made a vegetable pizza and brought lots of fruits like pineapple,grapes and strawberries. and lori made a jello cake. it was so good and we had fun.kira got a lots of clothes,diapers etc.... i can't put all the pictures so i think this is good for now untill i get some baby shower pictures from pam....

Len had her ultrasound yesterday and we found out that we will be having a girl! We're pretty excited about it, and len can't stop thinking about pink things. We've thought of a few names and we like Jasmine, Mia (but we already have a Mya) Leah, Lana, Isabella, and Kira. middle names we like are Rose (after len's grandma rosemary) or Lynn or something to that effect. Let us know what you guys think!

Well, we finally had to brake down and purchase a new car since we will be having a couple new additions to our family... first Len's father Danny will be coming to live with us in a month or two, and also we are excited for the arrival of our new baby. So len's dream used to be a honda pilot, then when she saw julie's Odyssey, she decided she wanted one of those instead. Well, I told her as long as she pays for it then we could get one.. So we called around a found a great deal on a 2008 Odyssey lx with only 12,300 miles on it that is still under the 100,000 mile warranty, so we jumped on it. The kids are really enjoying it so far, vince always takes the back seat while ammon sits behind me and helps me spot deer on the sides of the road (because he whines about not getting to sit by vince) this way the kids don't fight. Me and len love finally owning a nice car that we don't have to worry about braking down every time we go somewhere!

So we were a little late getting a yule tide brush this year... we went up past the loa dump last saturday and picked out the least scraggly looking trees we could find. We had a good time throwing snow around and drinking warm chocolate!

I found this cool web site called mp3panda, it offers songs for 5 cents a piece and entire albums for 50 cents. Its legit, and when you register you can refill your balance in order to download songs. Right now they are having a holiday special so when you add $20 bucks to your account, they will automatically double it for free. Me and len tried it out and we've downloaded 500 songs and we still have $20!... we cant think of anything else we want to download though. You just download a download manager ,its not a p2p site just direct downloads and it doesn't download any other garbage on you computer, just the download program. Then you can use your mp3 anywhere, you can burn them to cd or put them into itunes. anyhow, give it a try! It sure beats buying songs for a buck a piece on itunes! I posted a link at the top of the page.

on oct.24,2009 we went to nevada by lemans caves and pick pine nuts,its a long drive my goodness.the first day we pick pine nuts for 3 long hours and the second day we pick 4 more long hours.i think the first day it was fun for vince,ammon and me because is not very long but the next day they are not very good they keep shouting me and tell me that they are ready to go home.so i told shaun im done and im not gonna pick up some more so me and the kids stay by the car and wait for dad,mom and shaun to finish picking up pine nuts.so in short story we pick 30lbs and 60z and mom and dad they pick 30lbs and 40z so i think we did good.we had fun!!!!! but i dont know if i wanna go pick up some pine nuts again its a hard work.......

So we went up north to visit our filipino "family" last weekend for Ammon's birthday. We stayed at Robert and Luisa's house, they are very nice and always spoil us when we go there. Friday night we had barbeque tri tip beef that was so good... I'd never had it before but holy cow I'm going to have to start cooking it. Then on Saturday we went to Yayeh's house (she's a filipino and her american husband Bob is a nurse) they are so nice and always cook tons of filipino food when we come. One of the other filipina's had this blow-up water slide that the kids played on for hours, then we sang happy birthday opened presents and had cake and ice cream and later that night we sang karaoke for a couple hours. It was just like we were in the Philippines again... and the kids had a blast playing with all the other kids. On Sunday morning I (shaun) went fly-fishing with robert, bob and another of their friends Mitch. We got up at 4:15 am and arrived at the Weber river around 6:30. So Bob is an expert fly fisher and on saturday spent a couple hours teaching me how to cast and everything to get me ready. He let me borrow waders, boots, and his very expensive fishing pole. It was a blast walking around in the river in the waders trying to catch fish (key word trying) everyone caught one but me. After we got home that afternoon we had another party for another of one of our friends named Sally who's husband went on a mission back in 92. By sunday night we were partied out and we finally got home at 12am.

Big Rocks Trials Meet

So this weekend Cliff invited us to go to the annual big rocks trials meet just south of Loa, so obviously we went... It was sweeeeeeet. Michael and David rode awesome along with a few other guys from out of town. We had a fun time watching the pros hop and jump around effortlessly on the rocks. Kinda reminded me of when I used to be that good.... ha....ha.... Anyway here are some of the pics I took!

Wow i can't believe that vince is 6 years old.he had a good birthday we went to richfield and swim and after we went swimming we went to walmart and buy vince's gift.grandma and grandpa peterson and grandma chappell give him some money to buy toys and we got him a new bike.and then we went to eat at wingers vince had a free dinner and free dessert and the crew people at wingers sing a happy birthday to vince.im on the way to the bathroom when the waitress bring his sundae and then when i came back to our table the sundae was gone he ate all of them we didnt even taste it.happy birthday vince we love you!!!!!

we had a good easter weekend micah and julie and thier three kids came home for the weekend,and they bring thier wii, we played a lot of bowling ang rock band.saturday morning is cold and rainy outside so we decided to stayed at home and have a picnic at grandma and grandpa peterson house.we ate hotdog,sloppy joe,fruit salad.etc...and then later that afternoon the weather is so nice so went to sunglow to rolls our eggs and a little bit of fun...

I cant believe that shaun's is 30 now,but for me he still look 21. he had a good birht day he went to a motorcycle ride with his cousins to beaver.they left friday afternoon and come home saturday night, he told me that one of his cousins took some pictures and his gonna get some so we can post it but is been a while still not here so i decided to just post it without the pictures.

Region Basketball....

last week we went to cedar city to watch a region basketball we went there on tuesday and wednesday.we miss tina and josh and nathan because we usually stay with them.so we decided to stay in the hotel because ammon and vince they never experience to stay in the hotel we stayed at the abby inn because they have indoor swimming pool and a hot tub..ammon and vince like it specially the swimming pool well ammon like the hot tub than the swimming pool he just sit there in the side of the hot tub and watch everybody.and then wednesday morning we invited beth and her kids and tj we forgot about tay and mya.they have so much fun swimming.....i have some pictures but it doesnt work ill try next tym...anyways region is done and we took 4th now were just waiting for the state....good job badgers...

well is been a while the last time im post so here is some update what were been doing.... last valentines day shaun surprise me with a three pancakes breakfast in bed.there are different sizes large.medium and small he is so nice to make that for me i forgot to take a picture. but instead of eating on the top of my bed i stand up and sit in the table when i got there vince and ammon get jelous they want a heart pancake like mom so i gave one to vince and gave one to ammon,i ending up with the smallest pancake.but we all have a good breakfast and good valentines day!!!!

I've always believed that if you insist on keeping children away from every unclean thing in this world they will probably get sick alot more... Shaun and Lance are the coolest ice skaters ever.

Last Monday me, Lance, Mom and Dad went ice skating at fish lake. After skating around for a while, me and Lance decided to skate the whole length of the lake. The furthest north we could go was at a spot called Joe's Bush, because there was a crack in the ice and water was flowing from the north. We got out and started at about 12:45, the ice fishers looked at us kinda weird when we started and told them we were going to skate clear to the end. We had a nice northerly wind to push us along, it was nice. At twin creeks there is a fault line that runs the entire width of the lake where the ice has cracked because of expansion, so we had to scout out the best spot to cross the dark abyss. It was a little spooky. A ways past that we found the best ice ever possible. The ice was so smooth we just couldn't resist getting on our knees to feel it's smoothness. It was hands down the best ice you could ever skate on (yes it's like we could ever know that) So after skating around for a few minutes we continued on untill we got to the south end of fishlake. Then we went back to the lakeside parking lot where mom and dad picked us up. Oh, the last 100 yards was a race, and I won (of course). So to make a short story even longer, me and lance are pretty much the coolest iceskaters ever.

so last saturday we went to fish lake to go ice fishing for the fisrt time,probably some people like it but not me...well it was ok is not bad...but the fisrt time i walk in that frozen lake the ice cracked so hard that everyone look at each other. i told to my friend that helping me that i wanna go back to the car and just wait there.everybody said that just relax and your be fine.ok i tried but is not working i hear the cracking sound everywhere my goodness,i told them i dont wanna die yet bcuz mykids still young and i wanna have one more kids(mmm maybe)i told them are you guys sure that this ice is not gonna break they said they are sure, but not me!!!! they cant convience me.. the kids like the fish they are all still alive.ammon dont even dare to touch the fish but vince torturing the poor fish of course.shaun bring his ice skate so he decided to skate instead of ice fishing.mom,dad,lance and tyce show up with thier skating and we have fun....well they have fun.i dont know if i dare go ice fishing again,,,i got nightmare that night. shaun and ammon decided to try the ice '''''

Our fun christmas!

Well, Christmas came and is now gone... (as is all our money) but we sure did have a fun one! Vince got a few action figures and a cool race track that santa set up downstairs in our freezer room... Ammon got a loader and a backhoe and a few little tracktors. Len and I got a mini dell and a few odds and ends. We had fun with Tina, Josh and Nathan and are glad they came home for the Holidays.. Julie and Micah came friday night. Tsugumi was also here and she cooked us a Japanese meal Friday night, the sushi was excellent. We had fun playing games and went ice skating for a while... Vince and Ammon both had a blast on the little skates we borrowed from Uncle Kay.

On Tuesday we started tearing out our old kitchen carpet and today we spent all day laying down our new kitchen floor. Dad and Ted helped us with the kitchen part, the Len and I finished the hall. We finally got done at 10pm... it took forever just to do the hall because we had to make sure we didn't waste much stuff because home depot didn't have anymore of the laminate we used..... we ended up with 4 pieces left over. We like how it looks though!

last night shaun,vince and ammon went downstairs to fix the light on the ceiling because it's a little dark to play pingpong and i'm upstairs doing my thing. They were downtairs for a while and then i heard shaun say son of a b! a word he never says in front of his kids or anywhere so i know something bad happen and then i heard ammon and vince crying so hard i think they get scared when they saw there dad bleeding..and then when i get downstairs i saw shaun's bleeding so hard.i dont even wanna see it but i have too. he lost a lot of blood in the sink and then he said im not feeling well so he sat there forever in the bathroom and then i went upstairs and then after a while he came uptairs too and then i look at him and his face is so white like a dead person. and then try to call mom and nobodys home because im getting really scared bcuz his been bleeding for a while . Then shaun went to doc.chappell's house and he said to shaun that he needs a stitches but shaun said no just fix it alittle bit.my word seriously im having a good days with my boys,,ammon's first then shaun who's next well..i hope no one else.... this is the thing the cut shaun's arm open

This morning were trying to get ready for the day...im in the kitchen trying to clean up the mess.then ammon ang vince playing in the living room and then i heard vince and ammon are both laughing and then i heard crying.so i run to vince's room to check what's going on ammon is on the floor bleeding and has a hole in his forehead,and of course he already passed out too!!! you can't really tell in the picture but if you can see him in person its look like somebody put an ice pick in his forehead...

so last sunday after we eat at grandma and grandpa peterson house we decided to come home so we can all have a nap.and then we all sitting in the living room and watching t.v and then ammon said im going downstairs to play pingpong (we have a pingpong table downstairs now fun fun) so we said yes.and then tyce and lance came over to play pingpong and then ammon heard them so he came uptairs and this is what we saw he buzz his own hair.yup he just barely had a haicut too.

So last saturday we went to the sawmill to get some woods for the winter. i can't believe its almost winter again!!!!we decided to bring the boys so they can play while were getting some woods.and ammon is so excited so see the big toys like big loader,small loader,fork lift etc.and every time his in the sawmill uncle ted always give him a ride. and i decided to bring a camera to take some pictures.

ammon had a good birthday!!!!!the morning of ammon's bitrhday we went to the capitol reef park we pick some peaches and apples.and then we went to the monkey bars for a minuite and then we came home....and then ammon open some of his presents he loved it so much. and then we went to grandma and grandpa peterson house and open some more presents thanks everyone for the present and money...

Ammon Love"s riding motorcycle everyday...can u see he even kiss the motorcycle, he is so lucky that he didnt get burn.he always want to go to grandma"S house so he can ride the motorcycle.

so after 5 yeras never been alone with our kids atlast we have a chance to do it. shaun and me went to las vegas for 2 nights, we stayed at the MIRAGE HOTEL it is a nice place., it was fun to get away with our kids. but it is weird to go somewhere without ammon and vince to tell them "dont touch that", :come here" "stay here" ect. we have some pictures but not a lot so i can post a few...

well i always look at my sister-inlaws blogspot so i decided to make one for my family so they can see and read what's goin on here in wayne county...
